Award Objectives

Honor intellectuals, researchers, and authors, who have made significant contributions to modern-day literature, social sciences. culture and knowledge.

Submission Process

  1. Submit your book by registering online.
  2. Send 5 copies of your book to:
    • Sheikh Zayed Book Award.
    • Abu Dhabi Arabic Language Centre.
    • Department of Culture & Tourism - Abu Dhabi.
    • DCT Warehouse (Abu Dhabi Arabic Language Centre) –ICT CUBES PARK Musaffah Industrial - M-25 - Abu Dhabi.
  3. An email will be sent confirming a successful online submission once 5 copies of the book are received by the Award.

You can submit your book for this year's edition from June 1st - Oct 1st, 2023. Contact us via info@zayedaward.ae for more information.

SZBA Translation Grant

Get the support you need to translate SZBA winning and shortlisted titles

Funding is available for translation of all literature and children’s titles that have won the Sheikh 
Zayed Book Award, as well as shortlisted literature and children’s titles starting in 2021.
