Bedouins, the Desert and Poetry

In collaboration with Sea of Culture, the Sheikh Zayed Book Award organized its first physical session since the beginning of COVID, titled “Bedouins, the Desert and Poetry” with Dr. Mohamed Al-Maztouri, winner of SZBA 2022 Young Author award and moderated by journalist and writer Taqiah Al-Amiri. 

Dr. Al-Maztouri discussed his winning book “Bedouinism in Ancient Arabic Poetry”, his future plans as well as the impact winning the Sheikh Zayed Book Award had on his scholarly career.
