Sheikh Zayed Book Award Organizes Storytelling Event at Kinokuniya Dubai

Sheikh Zayed Book Award organized a children’s storytelling session in collaboration with Kinokuniya Bookstore in Dubai mall on December 6th in celebration of the centenary of the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan.

The event was part of the Award’s initiatives to mark The Year of Zayed and promote Arabic children’s literature. The storytelling session featured Emirati renowned author, Dr. Fatima Hamad Al Mazrouei who narrated her best-seller “Sheikh Zayed Trilogy” which commemorates the life and childhood stories of the founding father. Canadian storyteller and performer, Tracey Jones, provided simultaneous translation in English during the event.
