The Sheikh Zayed Book Award participated in a virtual discussion at the Frankfurt Book Fair 2020 live Digital Programme. Chaired by Dr. Stephan Milich, Arabist and Board member of Litprom, the event hosted Ibtisam Barakat, Sheikh Zayed Book Award 2020 Children's Literature winner, along with renowned German author, Kirsten Boie who discussed how children's literature authors can approach timely topics such as expulsion in their writings to the young readers.
