As part of our cultural programme at the 2021 Frankfurt Book Fair, we hosted a virtual webinar titled ‘Untapped Potential of Arabic Literature, with poet, critic, translator, and Assistant Professor of Arabic Literature at Brigham Young University Kevin Blankinship, Editorial Director of Library of Arabic Literature Chip Rossetti, and Publishing Manager of Storytel, Dubai and Founder of Raya Literary Agency Yasmina Jraissati.

In the webinar co-hosted by Publishing Perspectives and moderated by Porter Anderson Editor-in-Chief of Publishing Perspectives, the panelists of Arabic literary experts addressed the underrepresentation of Arab literature in translation and how publishers may discover the deep canon of great classic and modern works from the diverse Arab world.
