HH General Mohamed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan Honours Zayed Book Award 2015 Winners

In the presence of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, General Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, honoured at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibitions Centre, winners of the 9th Zayed Book Award. General Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, paid tribute to His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, who was named 'Cultural Personality of the Year' by the Zayed Book Award. Also present were Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, Sheikh Hamdan bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Ruler's Representative in the Western Region, Sheikh Surour bin Mohammed Al Nahyan, Lt. General Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Interior, Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Foreign Minister, Dr. Sheikh Sultan bin Khalifa Al Nahyan, Advisor to the UAE President, Sheikh Hamdan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Sheikh Sultan bin Tahnoun Al Nahyan, Chairman of Abu Dhabi Transport Department and of Abu Dhabi Tourism and Culture Authority, Abdullah Al Masaood, Chairman of the National Consultative Council (NCC) Sheikhs and senior officials. His Highness said, ''Our words, poems and achievements speak one language, which is the language of the UAE and is based on the deeply-rooted principles of the late founding fathers: Zayed bin Sultan and Rashid bin Saeed. In fact, this honouring today is recognition of their school and celebration of the eloquent UAE language through which we address the world.'' Bin Tamim also paid tribute to General Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed for his significant support to the award.
